What is a Reiki?

Reiki is an energy healing technique that promotes relaxation, reduces stress and anxiety through gentle touch. Reiki practitioners use their hands to deliver energy to your body, improving the flow and balance of your energy to support healing. Reiki promotes relaxation, stress reduction and symptom relief to improve overall health and well-being.

It can:

Bring on a meditative state.

Foster tissue and bone healing after injury or surgery.

Stimulate your body’s immune system.

Promote natural self-healing.

Relieve pain and tension.

Reiki is known to have no touch, pressure or manipulation but in my experience there have been times where some force may stand up that needs to be addressed by touch and I will take care of it as needed. So your reiki might convert over to a cleansing and go back to a reiki. You may experience the energy in the form of sensations like heat, tingling or pulsing where I place my hands. It is normal to also not feel anything at all. Every experience is different.

There are also ways to assist the body during a healing reaction. These can include: drinking plenty of fluids especially water to help carry off the toxins and getting plenty of rest – mentally, physically and emotionally.
